    *Gasp!!*

    Wednesday, October 8, 2008, 11:04 AM [General]

Once again - *Gasp!!* I found a picture of myself - after much digging on the computer - that is fairly recent.

'Course... It's pre-pregnancy, and my hair is in actuality curly rather than straight but I had played with the straightener that day (THAT hasn't happened since I got pregnant...) and my forehead looks atrociously HUGE but it's a picture nonetheless and and puts a face to this crazy girl's sometimes smart-a....leck-y... remarks and whinings and ramblings.

    See?! I told you I wasn't a rose! haha...

In other news my house is a complete disaster and I'm still recovering from a cold. I've been working hard on Etsy(a site KIND OF, IN A SMALL WAY, like ebay but geared more towards selling handmade items that has reasonable fees and listing time and seems like it's actually worth it to sell on there).

Um... Well I don't have a novel for you today and my daughter climbing all over me trying to get to my chocolate is telling me it's time to go. Good day, friends... or at least try to have a better one than I - at this point it looks like it's going to be kind of a long one...

    I promise...

I really am a real person... not a beaded flower. Someday, I'll maybe be able to get someone else behind the camera instead of me and actually get some pictures of me... preferrably decent ones... *ponders* Hahahaha! Yes, that is a funny one.

On a happy note, I got my new sewing book yesterday! YAY! Now I can actually know what I'm doing instead of pretending lol. I think I'll wait to get into that until either my necklace making fetish wears off and I get some dreamcatchers stocked up along with some beaded flowers, or I just get a good stock of each one so that I can have some time to learn a new skill *giggles* Maybe I don't have a fetish for each individual type of my craft... but for crafting in general... hmmmmmm *strokes chin* This may be true, I'm thinking because not only do I have an interest in learning/teaching myself to sew, but to get into woodburning as well (no not the throw a log on the fire type woodburning). And chainmaille...the chainmaille one not so much as the others *at this point in time* but I can feel the desire building. Slowly, but surely.

On another happy note, I've had some inspirations for uses for my flowers that is beginning to bring back the desire to create said blossoms once again (I have taken a bit of a hiatus except for custom orders) so I'm slowly making flowers... I will probably get more into it when I have more of what I need for my inspirations and after I make some dreamcatchers.

I've also had some inspiration for necklaces... but that's limited to my lack of chain I need/want to try it out on first...

And now I do believe I've run out of subject matter, although I am in a personal debate about what to do with my dreamcatchers in reference to Etsy... should I wrap the hoops and do the netting as blanks or bedeck the dreamcatchers with embellishments as inspiration hits and if they want a custom made dreamcatcher they can convo me? hmmmm *strokes chin*

Seriously! Every time I hit Faire, I'm like, "Okay, Erin, you're in a monogamous relationship. Look but don't touch!" Haha. It's like going to a candy store--I just want to lick all the long haired men in garb like lollipops :P

Thank you. I thought I had already tried that and it didn't work, but this time it did, so either it was something else I tried or the site was having difficulties that day maybe.

But alas, even most of the people (and there were very few of them at that) in "my area" are located too far away. :(

So I understand your lament about having people nearby of similar interests, etc.

Maybe if more people knew about this site we'd have better luck, as I'm sure there must be more of us.

But I wish you the best in your quest and thank you so much for your help. :)
